Photomontage of the future Pontias

The New Construction Department of the Group’s Technical Department is monitoring the construction of the self-propelled tanker ‘Pontias’ whose hull is built in Serbia and whose outfitting will take place in the Netherlands from April 2018. This self-propelled vessel will be put into service at the end of 2018 and will begin its commercial operation of transporting clean petroleum products and benzene on the Rhône.

• Max. draft: 3.25 m
• Cargo volume: 8 x 375 m³ = 3000 m³ approx.
• French flag, Hull classified Bureau Veritas, ADN 2017 type C, navigation zone 1
